Rated 5 out of 5 by from simple, inexpensive and accurate. GREAT VALUE! Just received the GOLFWORKS economy Swingweight Scale for home use. Compared it to the MUCH more expensive version at the practice and coaching facility where I work part time. This inexpensive scale gives the EXACT same measurements as the more expensive version. Just remember most people could never tell the difference between a D1, and a D2 measurement as a one point increase in swing weight is equivalent to resting a dollar bill on the hosel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product! Accurate & easy to use! Well worth the money! Easy to use and very accurate if used on a flat and level surface. Used it to swing weight my set of irons after re-shafting and "calibrated/verified" it using a new Titleist wedge, which was D2 from the factory. Scale perfectly measured the wedge to D2. Flat & level surface is a MUST if you want accurate readings and results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap and accurate! I have a test club that is measured professionally by a Master Clubmaker and documented at D2.5. Yes, 2.5. The economy swing weight tool measure it - exactly D2.5 It's accurate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Bought it bc I like to build my own clubs. Tested it against a good scale at my local golftec and everything was dead on. Couldnt ask for anything else especially for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I had one of the more expensive scales from golf works and used it for over twenty years . We moved and somehow it got tossed. I thought I'd save a little money and get this "economy" scale but it's a piece of junk and I just had to go ahead and order the more expensive one again. Don't waste your money on this one, get the better more expensive one. Anybody want one cheap? I'll never use it except to maybe scrape mud or ice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and easy This swingweight scale is very simple and easy to use. Please note that it does not measure total weight, just swingweight. If you are looking for exact measurements, a digital scale might be better, but you should be able to measure swingweight in 1/2 SW increments with this. I'd definitely recommend this for someone wanting to measure swingweight without breaking the bank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does The Job Well I did compare this to a digital scale. All I can say is as long as the surface you place it on is level, This scale is spot on. Cheers to saving money and it pays off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what is suppose to do If you are in the business of collecting expensive fancy tools then this item is not for you. However if you need to insert few grams of weight onto the shaft before you put epoxy to work this is exactly what you need. Cheap and accurate. Remeasured swing weight of all my assembled clubs on fancy expensive golf store scale and they are all exactly as on this cheap one.

Is there a way to calibrate this scale?

Asked by: birdies
No there is no way to calibrate this scale. When we manufacture these scales we have a reference club at a D2 swingweight that we have used for years that we use to align the sticker with. But there is no way to calibrate it like the other scales we sell.
