Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved my problem I had a hosel that was slightly large than normal. I try shims but they didn't work. So far club is holding together. Easy to use although I'm no technician. Large enough quantity to pass on to my great grandkids at the rate I use it.

The Glass Shafting Beads. I plan to install driver tip adaptors (Titleist 915 & Cobra LTD) on shafts and also some graphite iron shafts in wedges. Should I use these Beads, not just epoxy? I want to do this as professionally as possible.

Asked by: bruce
Glass Beads can be used with any club assembly. Their purpose is to keep the shaft centered in the hosel bore or shaft adaptor. They also tighten the fit a little bit.

Hi Jim, do the beads actually look like powder?  I think mine are going to last my lifetime because I bought them from Dynacraft!  Thanks, PatB

Asked by: Peebee
Yes they do look like a powder. These are medium grit and yes a bottle can last a life time. I also still have a bottle I had from my Dynacraft days.

Do you mix the beads with the epoxy? How much do you use per installation?

Asked by: jonhaff
You can either mix it with the epoxy or once you have epoxy on the tip of the shaft you can dip the tip of the shaft into the glass beads. With glass beads I like to mix it with the epoxy. I just use a pinch of glass beads with my thumb and index finger and mix it with the epoxy for a full set of irons.

How does this compare with the Golfworks Quik Center  #QCSB as far as use? Is there a stronger bond or a better center?

Asked by: The Club Nut
The Quik Center is a little courser and fills a little more space then the Glass beads which in some cases would help center better. Both products are more for centering then better bonding.
