Just sharing a trick, I use on graphite shafts with the grip tape stripper. Keep the tool clean, it will help you prevent gouges in the finish coating of the shafts. That may sound obvious but as you work through a set of clubs you get bits and pieces of tape and crud that miss-positions the blade. I keep two tools in a narrow tall jar of grip solvent so the blades stay moist. The wife says it looks like her father’s barbershop comb jar. Since the blades stay moistened with solvent it helps cut the adhesive putting less pressure on the coating.
