The GolfWorks Head Tac Adhesive

Clubhead Tacking Adhesive is a sticky compound used to coat the inside of a head, trapping particles and eliminating rattles. Used in small amounts, will not affect swingweight. To use, remove shaft, drill a 1/8" hole in the hosel and squeeze a small amount into the hole. In seconds, particles are trapped. Use a metal wood plug (MWHBP) to fill hole before replacing shaft. 4 oz. bottle.
The GolfWorks Head Tac Adhesive is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much Needed Product This product is much needed and basic for any repair shop. Don't use to excess. This product will flow to different parts of the inside the golf head. So use just enough to do the job, which is stopping any rattle.

Can this adhesive be inserted through the weight screw hole of a titleist 915 D3? And if yes, is there something I have to take espacial care for? Thanks

Asked by: Mike
Yes the Clubhead Tac can be added through the screw hole in the Titleist 915 D3 driver. I find if I use a heat gun and warm the clubhead and the Clubhead Tac bottle the adhesive will flow better into the clubhead.

Can the head tac adhesive be used to muffle loud driver heads and reduce impact noise?

Asked by: Old pro
Yes it will muffle sound to some extent but keep in mind it is used to add weight so if you use to much you club will get a quite a bit heavier.

Does the head tacking adhesive harden and stay in place, or is it more like a sirup that moves around in the head?

Asked by: Mark
It does not harden. If it hardened it would break loose and rattle. It does set up and get tackier to stay in place but it would always be somewhat tacki to the touch.
