Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great!!! I bought this product because I need have a better way of catching excess grip solvent while regripping golf clubs. I am a do it your selfer. I regular regripping my own clubs and a few friends clubs. The solvent tray is a big relief. I don't have to worry about spillage on my floor or on my feet. I had hoped the lip would have been a little wideer so it could sit on the ledge of my work bench. I like a little more stabilization than usual. All in all its a great tool and I appreciate having it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great investment! This item is great for either the at home do it yourselfer, or commercial use re-gripping 20 sets a day. Quickly pays for itself by capturing grip solvent which can be re-used. I use a 50/50 mixture of "re-claimed / new solvent" which I believe gives me an excellent extended life span and a slightly higher profit margin on re-gripping. How does the metal bracket fit on a work bench? would the grip vice need to be elevated higher than the catch pan?

Asked by: gusalzate5
This bracket is actually designed to mount to this Vise Extension (UCMVEX). http://www.golfworks.com/clubmakers-vise-bench-mount-extension/p/UCMVEX/ It could be mounted to the bench and yes you want the grip vise to be higher then the catch pan. You will find you need that room for your hands when installing the grips and tape.

Approximately how wide is the catch pan. I am building a work bench for club repair and wanted to make sure I make a area for my grip station that is long enough to fit the catch pan. Thanks

Asked by: mgillmor
The catch pan is approximately 11 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches long.
