Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suprised good I bought this items few weeks ago. Suppose to be for the fairway wood but I put into Driver. Multi adjust driver and shaft into horsel adapter, I don't see any different from using different setting. Seems to me, it is good as 200 shaft. I will buy this brand again as long as available.

Do you still have any of these shafts available in S (stiff) flex? It shows they make them but it's not an option I can choose, or even see for that matter. Thanks. Seems perfect for my old 5W Big Bertha I got garage salein' off a 90yo man.

No, we are sold out of the S flex wood shafts. This shaft has been discontinued and we will not be getting any more in stock. I would suggest the UST dhi (US0082) S flex. I has similar playing characteristics and is a good inexpensive shaft. https://www.golfworks.com/ust-mamiya-dhi-series-graphite-wood-shaft/p/US0082/

Received this and length is 45 inches. Is this normal as triming it at 42.5 (a standard length for 3 wood) would alter the flex of the regular shaft I bought, no ?

Asked by: Benoit
This is normal that raw shaft lengths are longer then what the finished club length will be. When you cut this for 42.5" and if the club has a swingweight in the D1 range the shaft flex will be in it's normal shaft flex range. At 42.5" your swingweight might be a little lighter then D1 and the shaft could play just a little stiffer.

I bought a KE 4 3w head that weighs 220g. With this tour tech shaft should I be trimming it as a 3w or a 5w? This 3w head is heavier than most 3 woods.

Asked by: pwg
For me if the head weight weights 220 grams then I would follow the tip trimming for the 5 wood. Generally a traditional 3 wood was in the 210 gram head weight range.

I'm after a new shaft for my maxfli md 3 wood, 5 wood and hybrid. The current shafts are really flexy and I loose the ball to the right. Would these be a suitable replacement? I don't want to spend too much as the clubs are cheap.

Asked by: JamesG
The fairway wood shafts will fit the 3 and 5 woods but not the hybrid. You would need the GT0003 TourTech Hybrid shaft for the hybrid. http://www.golfworks.com/tour-tech-filament-wound-graphite-hybrid-shafts/p/GT0003/ As long as you get the correct flex they could work well.

What is the trim instructions for a fairway 3 wood with senior flex? Thanks.

Asked by: BeachBill
With this Fairway Wood shaft the recommended tip trimming for the 3 wood is 0". Just install and butt cut to your finished length. You would follow trim code W19 at this link. You will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/shaft_trim_inst.pdf

Is a 95 gram steel shaft too heavy for me?

Asked by: NickinPS
A 95 gram steel shaft is considered a lightweight steel shaft. There is no way to know if the 95 gram steel shaft is too heavy for you without going thrugh the proper shaft fitting procedures.
