Trimming Instructions

True Temper Dynalite Gold SL .355" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent results I switched the XP 115 shafts on my Mizuno HP-M4 irons for the Dynalite Gold SL shafts and immediately felt a much softer feel with minimal increase in trajectory. The accuracy is also equivalent. I made the switch due to arthritis in my shoulder. I also put sensicore inserts in and absolutely feel no more shock or vibration.

do you have a TT dynalite gold r300 .355 that has a tip to first step measurement of 10.5 inches.

Asked by: red
The Dynalite Gold iron shafts were discontinued by True Temper a number of years ago. If you had the Dyanlite Gold R300 .355" taper tip shaft the 10.5" tip to first step measurement would have been the 37" raw length shaft which was for the sand and lob wedges. In the Dynalite Gold SL R300 taper tip it would also be the 37" raw length shaft was also 10.5" tip to first step and again was the sand and lob wedge shafts. The 37" raw length shaft could have been used in all the wedges as well as the 9 iron depending on the manufacture.

I want to order a set of these shafts 3 - PW but not all lengths are listed on order tab. Are they available?

Asked by: Larry249
The Dynalite Gold SL shafts were discontinued by True Temper and if a shafts shows backorder we are sold out of that length and will not be getting any more in stock.

Trying to match up a shaft in Nike VRii pro combo iron #7. Labels say Dynalite Gold SL; S300 The numbers on the butt end are 39345547-1 LGSLISJ3 38.50. Does this match up to the TT0011I based on those numbers on the butt end? Also, is it sensicore?

Asked by: scotts
The LGSLISJ3 38.5" tells us about the shaft. For a replacement you need the 38.5" Dynalite Gold SL S300. On our web site it will say that it is an 8 iron shafts but Nike used it for the 7 iron. The Dynalite Gold SL was discontinued by True Temper a couple of years ago and these are shafts we have left in stock. We do not have it available with the Sensicore. You would need to purchase the Sensicore (TTSP) separately and install it yourself, which is easy to do.

I have Nike covert irons and need new shaft for p- wedge ,will this shaft work?

Asked by: Yogi
The Nike Covert irons use a .370" tip diameter shaft. You would need to shim the Dynalite Gold SL .355" taper tip shaft to fit the hosel. You could use the Dynamic Gold SL (TT201105) as a replacement and it is a .370" tip diameter shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-dynamic-gold-sl-370-steel-iron-shafts/p/TT201105/

Two questions: which R300 shaft has a tip to 1st step distance of 11.5 inches? This may be trivial but the label on the shaft I'm replacing is red. Do you have any red dynalie gold sl labels?

Asked by: chipper
The Dynalite Gold SL R300 38" raw length, which is the 9 iron shaft, has a tip to first step measurement of 11.5". Dynalite Gold SL shaft bands may have been made in Red for a specific club manufacture but not for the shafts sold by the aftermarket. We do not have any Dynalite Gold SL shaft bands in Red. Dynalite Gold shaft bands were done in Red.

I am thinking about putting these shafts in my wedges. 1) Will they come close to matching my Dynalite Gold XP s300? 2) Will these tips fit in Cleveland 588 Forged Wedges? Thank you!

Asked by: Chris25
The Dynalite Gold SL is actually a lighter weight shaft then the Dynalite Gold XP was. The Dynalite Gold SL is a good shaft and could work well. The .355" taper tip version will fit your Cleveland Wedges. I would also suggest looking at the new True Temper XP 115 as a replacement for the Dynalite Gold XP. The shaft weight and playing characteristics are a little better match then the Dynamic Gold SL. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=TT0112
