True Temper Dynamic Gold .355" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sometimes high tech is over rated ! With all the "new" steel shafts on the market to choose from True Temper Dynamic Gold stands the test of time ! Still the most consistent across the board, it is my go to when an experiment doesn't pan out .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular, time-tested, shanker-approved shaft! If you are unhappy with your stock steel shafts, these are, in my opinion, the go-to shaft for anyone. They can be had in a number of different flexes to suit your needs. I had AWT stiff shafts in my Ping G irons at normal length gapping - a lot of R&D went into designing these so that they are weighted differently depending on the loft of the iron making them heavier in the higher lofts and lighter in the lower lofts to promote WHAT, I have no idea - basically they made for to much inconstancy in my swing. I swapped them out for TT DG S300 at .3" gapping in length (instead of .5") and it has made for a much more consistent ball striking experience for this hacker. Also, Golf Works is the bomb! They are a very helpful, reasonably priced, one-stop shop for all your club building needs. Your stuff ships out quickly too. Cheers, to Golf Works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynamic Gold is gold! Ever sense I was14 I have used DGs300 iron shafts. I have tried other brands and they just don't match up with feel and consistancy! I will never try another brand again. Thank you for taking such care and respect for the products you provide to us diehard lovers of golf. Thank you so much from an extremely satisfied costumer! Rated 5 out of 5 by from X100 X Stiff Bought these to replace a set of Rifle flighted shafts in my R7 TP irons. Feel good, not too stiff especially after I set the clubs to D3 swingweight (I'm 6'4"). Easy to install with some collared ferrules.

I'm looking for a replacement shaft for a Dynamic Gold DGTIX7 6 iron shaft with a tip Dia. of .355 If not available what would you recommend I use. CPM with grip on was 315 CPM

Asked by: Ralph
This would be the Dynamic Gold X7 shaft which are sold in sets only and we cannot order just a 6 iron shaft. The closest shaft we would have is the Dynamic Gold X100 (DGI). You would order the 38.5" raw length shaft. You can see the specifications of the DG X7 at this link. https://www.truetemper.com/products/dynamic-gold-x7/

I want 1/2 inch more standard can i cut 1/2 on the tip for obtain more stiff? ..i know it entry into the hosel..

Asked by: Leonard
No, you cannot tip trim a .355" taper tip shaft. If you do it will not longer fit into a .355" tapered hosel bore. At 1/2" longer the shaft flex will basically stay the same as it was at standard length. The butt end of the shaft is the stiffest end and you are extending the length at the butt end. The increase in swingweight will be offset by the stiffness added by extending at the stiffest end (butt end) of the shaft.

how are you looking for inquires about your iron shafts. the R300 #1 i need regular shafts but i need diffeent lengths. I am re shafting 4 through pitching wedge with standard lengths. could u help me and point me in the right direction as far as lengths?

Asked by: kellan
For taper tip .355 Dynamic Gold R 300 shafts, you would order the 39.5" for the #4 iron, 39" for the #5 iron, 38.5" for the #6 iron, 38" for the #7 iron, 37.5" for the #8 iron, and 37" for the #9 and PW. No tip trimming on .355 taper tip shaft. After installation, trim to your final playing length from the butt end.

Will this shaft fit in Taylor made irons?

Asked by: Doyle
It depends on which Taylor Made irons you have. Taylor Made uses .355" tip size shafts in all their TP models but .370" tip sizes in most of their other models. You can look up your irons at this link. https://www.golfworks.com/images/art/TaylorMade.pdf

I have on back order a dynamic gold 41" X100 shaft I would like to know what shaft should I go to for a reg flex

Asked by: Joe F
If you like the weight of the Dynamic Gold you could use the R300 (DGI) or if you wanted a lighter weight but the same playing characteristics you could use the Dynamic Gold SL R300 (TT2016).

Play a 300 forge taylormade iron now . Driver distance about to 230 -235 level ground .shaft is 6.0 flighted. Purchased x tour cal. With s300  how do they compare?

Asked by: Former scratch
The 6.0 Flighted Rifle is approximately a half a flex stiffer then the DG S300. The Flighted Rifle shafts were initially created to match the trajectories of the DG taper tip shafts for the tour pro's. The Flighted Rifle shaft also has a higher balance point then the DG S300 which can change the balance and feel.

Its been along time since I reshafted my irons, I have an older set of Wilson Tour blades. The are bore through, what size and type of tip do they require

Asked by: John
It depends on just how old these are but more then likely these would be a .355" taper tip. The older original "Fluid Feel" irons from the 60's and 70's used a .340" taper tip shaft.

Do the .355 tapers have progressive weighting or profiles in any like the DG Pros? Or does the taper just prevent one from having to tip trim? Thanks in advance.

Asked by: Devon
The DGI Dnamic Gold irons are constant weight. The DG Pro's and the AMT's are progressive weight designs. The DGI is a .355 taper tip design, not just for the reason of no tip trimming, but because many current and models of the past require a .355 taper tip design shaft.
