Trimming Instructions

True Temper Dynamic Gold .370" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate These shafts are the most accurate and consistant I've found. Been using them for over 20 years. I changed out my graphite shafts in my hybrid irons and woods (the hosel on my 3 wood hybrid takes a .370 diameter) for better online shots and consistant yardages. The only con is the extra wieght but the trade off for accuracy saves me a stroke or two per round!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Well i got a shaft that works with my Maltby TE irons. If you think the X300 is a telephone pole your wrong. Med high ball flight, soft good feel with spin. I was nervous at first by thinking they would be to stiff but they are the best shaft i hit so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good service I am new at installing shafts but with the product and the good directions included, it was easy. The new shaft does make a difference, although I am at best a poor player.

Have old Muz.MX 20 w/ to dynalite gold project.x 95 5.5 Or psi 5.5 too stiff for me?

Asked by: Billy B
Royal Precision called a 5.5 flex a Stiff flex shaft. Both of these shafts would play stiffer then the Dynalite Gold R300. Royal Precision called a 5.0 an R+ flex and the 4.5 an R flex. These shafts are not available in the 4.5 flex.

Will this shaft be a good replacement for a nike vrs 5 iron with a true temper dynalite 90 stiff flex?

Asked by: Gianni
The std. Dynamic Gold shaft is quite a bit heavier and will produce a lower ball flight than the original Dynalite 90 shafts. I would suggest reshafting with the XP95 shaft as a replacement. This will closer in ball flight and weight than the Dynamic Gold and is available in both .355" and .370". You can find which tip diameter you will need here:

How do I request to add a half inch to the shaft...How long does it take to ship something like this?

Asked by: ole007
If you are having us cut the shafts for you before we ship them (Shaft Prep) you would need to tell use which clubs you have, manufacture and brand, and what finished length you want the clubs to be. Be specific with the lengths not just a half inch longer. You would put this information in the Special Instructions box at Checkout. If you will be cutting the shafts yourself you would cut them to 1/2" longer when you assemble your clubs.

I bent the shaft on my Taylormade Burner 7 iron. What shaft would you recommend? I was real happy with it until it bent. Thank you

Asked by: Randy H
The closest match is going to be the True Temper GS-85 shaft. This shaft is currently a special order item for us. True Temper should be able to send us one if we have an order within 1-2 weeks. Please see the link below.

I would like to know if to achieve an s100 should I soft step an s200 or an s300

Asked by: ozzie626
The measurement that True Temper uses to sort S100, S200 and S300 is shaft weight. An S100 is approximately 4 grams lighter then an S300 and 2 grams lighter then an S200. In stiffness it also works out to approximately 2 cpm's per shaft. An S100 is approximately 4 cpm's more flexible then an S300 and 2 cpm's more flexible then the S200. 1/2" of length is generally equal to 3 to 5 cpm's. Soft stepping the S300 one shaft would get you in the flex range but if you could soft step the S200 it would keep you closer to the S100 in both weight and flex.
