Trimming Instructions

True Temper Dynamic Gold High Launch Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from DGHL S-Taper I built a test club with a Stiff DGHL taper tip. Comparing it side by side to the five iron which has a Dynalite gold SL - S. I would say it felt about the same and performed about the same. The difference between the two shafts was indiscernible. I am now building one with the R flex DGHL. The difference between the R and the S is significant as measured on the frequency meter. I will write a review after testing.

Will these shafts fit Nike Victory Red Irons

Asked by: Kyle
It depends on which Victory Red irons you have. They will fit the Victory Red Full Cavity Back irons. https://www.globalgolf.com/golf-clubs/1014765-nike-victory-red-full-cavity-iron-set/used/ They will not fit the Victory Red Forged TW Blade or Forged Split Cavity back design. https://www.globalgolf.com/golf-clubs/1014764-nike-victory-red-forged-split-cavity-iron-set/used/ The Dynamic Gold HL shaft was actually listed as a stock shaft in the Victory Red Full Cavity Back irons.

Are all the iron shafts precut to standard length ?

Asked by: Johngolf
No, these shafts are all 41" raw length. They need to be trimmed from the tip for each club number and from the butt end for each clubs finished length. We do offer a Shaft Prep service where we will do all the shaft trimming for you and sand the tip end of the shaft so all you have to do is install the shafts. There is an additional charge of $4.95 per shaft for this service.

What exactly is "pureing" a shaft? I want to build my own clubs and need a reference guide/book.  Any suggestions?

Asked by: Jerry O
The best way for you to understand what "Pureing" is to go to the SST Pure tab at the bottom of our home page and click it. It will take you to the SST home page. There you will find written explanation and a video of what "Pureing" is. http://www.golfworks.com/pureing-shaft-services/a/495/
