I bought a gently used Taylor Made v steel 9 fairway wood that came with a graphite shaft. My other v steels came with Dynamic Gold Lite stiff steel.......what do you have that would be a close match to the Dynamic Gold Lite so I can reshaft that 9 wood.

Asked by: Ron
The UDGW is one of two steel wood shafts we still have. The True Temper Commnad (TT202101) is the other one. The Dynamic Gold would still be the closest to the DG Lite. The V Steel used a .350" tip size shaft so you will need to shim the .335" tip DG shaft to properly fit. You can use the Universal Plastic Shim (BB9018) or you could use the SHIM15 (.335" - .350").

Are these shafts when installed in a bore thru driver head to be trimmed a 0". And if I install them in a standard bore driver head won't I have to trim at least 1" to get a true listed flex?

Asked by: papagolf
If it was me I would trim for the standard bore and trim 0" for the bore through because that is how the shafts were used back in the days when bore through shafts were being manufactured. For the standard bore I would insert the raw shaft (46") into the clubhead an measure the length of the club. If the club measures 47.25" then I would tip trim 1.25" for the driver. If the club measures 47" then I would tip trim 1". With the driver whatever the club measurement is over the raw 46" length would be your tip trim. True Temper changed the trimming instructions but never changed the shaft.

Hello Again, I couldn't see your staff's answer to my earlier question: what part# do I need to order for a set S300 labels? I'm restoring a set of Wilson Staff Logo '89-'90 Irons I picked up for free. Thx. Sarge

Asked by: Sarge420
We are not allowed to sell just the shaft bands. The shaft manufactures are concerned about the misuse of the shaft labels.

Can you fit this shaft to a Titliest 913D driver?  Also what shaft do you recommend for a 90-95 driver swing speed?

Asked by: Coop
A AjTech Z-42. Made for 90-100mph driver swing. I've been playing them since 1991 as their Test-pilot. They're long too.
