what options do I choose to get shafts prepped with correct lengths sent to me? I'm replacing the shaft in a Calloway UT 18* with x100 and 2 SM5 wedges with S400..

Asked by: Bradley
You would choose the tip and butt trimming box even though these shafts do not require tip trimming. We will cut them to your finished length and sand the shaft tips for you.

What's the difference between DG S300 and S400 shafts?  Thank you.

Asked by: Robert
The DG S400 weights 2 grams heavier (132g) then the S300 (130g) and generally will test 2 cpm's stiffer in a frequency machine. With True Temper shafts there is approximately a 12 cpm difference between an S400 and X100.

I'm buying some irons and the hosel on the irons are .370 will these shafts fit these irons since the tip on the shafts are .355

Asked by: Papa63
You would need to shim the .355" taper tip DG Tour Issue shafts to properly fit the .370" hosel bore of your irons. The SHIMT works well for this. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/

I need some clarification; the S400 is a stiff shaft and the X100 extra stiff shaft is this correct

Asked by: Papa63
Correct S400 is stiff flex and X100 is an extra stiff flex.

If I want pured tour issues shafts how do I go about making sure the label is on the bottom of the shaft since the labels are screen printed on? I'd be open to removing the screen printed labels as well.

Asked by: Rgolfer11
It is screen printed though. Will that work?

Im 6'8" and need shafts 1.5" over standard. If I were to buy the S400 shafts for my wedges at 37", does that mean I can just install them with no adjustments needed?

Asked by: Frank
It depends on which manufactures sandwedge you are putting this shaft into. Most sandwedge hosel designs will add 1.5" of length or more to the finished length of the club so the 37" raw length shaft can create a finished club length of 38.5" or longer. You will likely still need to butt cut the shafts for your finished length.
