HI..what is the weight of this shaft? I'm looking for something close to my 85 gram reax steel shaft that is broken?

Asked by: Greg
The raw weight of the GS95 shafts is 101 grams on the R flex and 103 grams on the S flex. If you are replacing a REAX steel shaft from a Taylor Made irons it would be a .370" tip diameter shaft. Shafts like the True Temper XP 95 (TT0113) or the New KBS MAX 80 (FS0052) are shafts that can make a good replacement for the REAX 85 gram steel shaft. Both of these shafts will end up in the high 80 gram weight range once cut for installation into your iron.

I need to replace a TT Speedstep 85 shaft in a Calloway X2 Hot P-wedge, but they seem to be permanently out of stock. Is this Speedstep 95 the closest replacement?

Asked by: dcfury
The GS-95 True Temper shaft was discontinued and replaced with the XP95 (TT0113). What we have left listed for the GS-95 shaft is all we have left in stock. https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-dynamic-gold-xp95-steel-iron-shafts/p/TT0113/

I've go a GS 95 shaft pulled from a 6i iron . What is the tip trimming instruction for this shaft? Thank you

Asked by: Izy
With GS95 shafts there was no tip trimming. There was a specific shaft length for each iron and you simply installed the shaft and butt cut to the clubs finished length. It would follow trim code IR1 on the second page at this link. https://www.golfworks.com/images/art/shaft_trim_inst.pdf

Can I get a picture of the TT 95s .370 shaft? How many steps are close together at the tip end of club?

Asked by: jill
I am sending you an email with an attached file of the True Temper mechanical drawings for the GS 95 iron shaft. I has all the measurements shown in the drawings.

What options are the best shaft options for the Burner 2.0 85 stiff pitching wedge

Asked by: jill
Totally depends on what your looking for in a wedge shaft. There are a variety of shafts designed for wedges with different playing characteristics. If the "85" in your discription describes the shaft weight and you are looking for something similar, you options are limited and would probably need to simply go with an iron shaft of that weight and trim it for a pitching wedge.

I have a set of Hogan Apex PC's, #4 stiffness. 8 iron was bored out to .370. Is this shaft (s300) a close match to the Hogan shaft?

Asked by: Denverlou
The GS95 is a lighter weight shaft then the Hogan Apex shaft that was used in the PC irons. The shaft in the PC irons would have been in the 118 gram range. We always matched the Hogan Apex iron shafts with the True Temper Dynalite or Dynalite Gold shafts. The Dynalite Gold has been discontinued but we do have the Dynalite 100 in the R/S combination flex and .370" tip size that would match up pretty well to the stock shaft. https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-dynalite-100-370-steel-iron-shafts/p/UMGLI/

will the 40 " 3b3h shaft fit my callaway x2 hot 4 iron

Asked by: BIG AL
Yes the GS95 .370" tip size shaft will fit the Callaway X2 Hot 4 iron. Actually the 39.5" shaft was the recommended raw length shaft for the 4 iron. Installing the 40" shaft into the 4 iron will make the shaft play a quarter of a flex more flexible then it's listed flex.

I have Cobra baffler irons , no hybrids (2000). I need to replace 2 shafts. Are these tapered and will they fit? Is there a cheaper dynalite with a low kick point?

Asked by: denny
The 2000 Cobra Baffler irons did use a .355" taper tip and these GS95 shafts are not longer available in sets for a .355" taper tip. The True Temper XP95 has replaced the GS95. https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-xp95-steel-iron-shafts/p/TT0101/
