True Temper Score LT Steel Iron Shaft Specifications

True Temper Score LT Steel Iron Shafts is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Match! I bought these about a month ago to replace a similar shaft with a different flex. These Score LT Steel shafts have performed just as I expected. I notice the desired consistency with every club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from replaced graphite shafts with these Wanted to try steel shafts in my olderCleveland Irons, that had graphite shafts. Cut and installed between R/S. After playing a few rounds, wish I had had used these years ago. They play great for me a 74 yr. old, a 16 handicap golfer.

does this shaft come in senior flex?

Asked by: gary
No the Score LT shaft is not manufactured in a Senior flex. Depending on your set make up you could subtract 1" from the recommended trimming instructions form the R flex and make this shaft play close to a Senior flex.

According to the tip stiffnes and bend point these shafts should have a lower ball flight in regular flex than stiff. Would that be correct?

Asked by: Hambone67
This is a combination flex shaft where you cut the R or S flex from the same shaft. It has the same bend point and tip stiffness in both the R and S flexes which is mid/low bend point and medium soft tip stiffness. This shaft is designed to produce a mid/high trajectory.

Are the labels on these shafts stickers?  I have only seen some pictures on ebay, and they almost look like they are just part of the shaft, not a separate sticker.

Asked by: Jason
The labels for the TT0100 are separate and are installed at assembly.

What would be the shaft weight differential between the PW an 3i for a +3/4" std length and R flex?

Asked by: jtrinid
Difficult to be precise without actually taking a set and cutting to the specs, but based on the fact that the differential in playing lengths, even at the +3/4" length, is still 1/2" between clubs and there would be 3 1/2" more shaft cut for the PW than the #3 iron, the weight differntial would be approximately 10-12 grams. This is based on the weight of the 3 1/2" of shaft cut from the butt end, which is the difference between how much is cut from the #3 and the PW.

Which .355 taper tip shaft would compare to the performance of TT Score LT .370 ?

Asked by: jtrinid
In True Temper shafts the TT Lite XL (2XLI) or the XP 115 (TT0112) would be the best option to match the TT Score LT. https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-tt-lite-xl-steel-iron-shafts/p/2XLI/ https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-xp115-steel-iron-shafts/p/TT0112/

Do you have any knowledge of the balance point of these shafts are?  Meaning, most TT shafts have a little bit lower of a balance point than say Nippon shafts.  The TT XP's make a note of this in description.  Makes normal swingweights (D2) easier to get.

Asked by: Jason
When I have measured the balance point on the Score LT it has been right in the middle of the shaft. It measured 20.5" up from the tip end of the shaft.

In a stiff flex at standard length after trimming, what is the weight(s) of the TT Score LT?  This would be for the Maltby MMB-17 irons.  Thank you.

Asked by: pjc
The Score LT will be the heaviest in the longest iron and gets lighter in weight as each club gets shorter in length. The shaft would weight approximately 107 grams in the 3 iron at 38.75" finished length and would weight approximately 98 grams in the Gap Wedge at 35.5".
