True Temper Dynamic Gold XP95 Steel Iron Shafts is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from good feel I received these 2 weeks and resifted AP1 irons. much lighter with good feel at impact. Did not balloon but was a nice high trajectory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Supplier Bought xp95 shafts for old Ping i10 irons. Rejuvenated them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shafts! I bought these a month ago. I previously had the XP 105 in my clubs. I think these XP 95 are a little lighter.....my swing weight for each club went down 1 to 2 swing weights so I am able to swing the club a little quicker and more consistently now. Also the XP 95 has a little higher ball flight which is what I was looking for....easy to order and put together. Very happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overstated Claims of Distance Gains I have now used the XP95 and the XP90 is several sets of irons. The shafts have a soft feel but launch the ball well. I did not see any increase in distance over other iron shafts. In fact, I'm currently using AMT True Temper shafts in my MB-T irons and see a very acceptable increase in distance but much more feel on all shots. These shafts also hit the ball much straighter which is a huge advantage over the XP series. Everyone is different so much of these advantages for me may be different with different swings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Higher flight I've played them for a month in my 5 iron - PW, and couldn't be happier. My swing speed with driver is around 85 mph, and I was looking for more height and distance with the irons. These shafts have performed as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shafts! I switch from KBS tour shafts to the XP95's and couldn't be more pleased with the performance. Put these shafts in my Titleist CB's and haven't looked back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performing shaft. Another winner for True Temper! Great feel with great performance!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from True temper xp95 shaft I ended up having to buy 2 since after installing the first one it was the wrong flex. I ordered stiff and they sent regular, But since I already tip prepped the shaft they wouldn't take it back. So I ordered a second one and got the right flex.

Do you stock True Temper shafts in a "stepless" and/or with Sensicore? Further, I am re-shafting and older set of Snake Eyes 675c irons (originally from Golfsmith) do you know off hand (I don't recall) would they be .355 or .370 bore?

Asked by: Jeff
True Temper does not manufacture a stepless shaft for the aftermarket. They also do not manufacture any of their shafts these days with the Sensicore (TTSP) installed at the factory. You have to purchase the Sensicore and install it yourself. The Snake Eyes 675c irons would use a .370" parallel tip shaft.

Hello, looking for a XP95 replacement for a Nike Vapor Fly Pro, do I need to order a .355" tip? Can't find this information anywhere. Thank you.

Asked by: BoSox Golfer
The Nike Fly Pro irons require a .355 taper tip shaft.

best fit graphite shaft for long irons, right now have xp95 steel, apex cf16 irons

Asked by: rabbit
It really depends on what you need the shaft to do for you that the XP95 is not doing. Callaway offers the UST Recoil 760/780 ES (US0099) shafts with the Apex CF16 irons. The 760 is a mid 60 gram weight shaft designed to create a mid/high ball flight and the 760 is a mid 80 gram weight shaft designed to create a mid/high ball flight. They will fit the Apex CF 16 irons if the specifications fit you needs. At this link scroll down the page and you can see the specifications for these shafts. https://www.golfworks.com/ust-mamiya-recoil-760-780-es-graphite-iron-shafts/p/US0099/

Hi, I just broke my 7 iron shaft king cobra one forged (taper tip, XP95 S300). But because it mentions "each shaft is designed for corresponding head and is unique", how do I order the replacement? And how should it be trimmed?

Asked by: Finan
All the clubheads have the same clubhead weight so they use the same shaft in each head. That would be the only thing unique about the shafts. Cobra referenece 37.25" for the standard length of these irons which I would consider a 6 iron length. With the XP95 S300 (TT0101) the 6 iron shaft is the 38.5" shaft. With the existing shaft if you can measure from the tip end of the shaft up to the first step on the 38.5" shaft it should measure 9.5". If it measures 9" then it means they used the 38" shaft. https://www.golfworks.com/true-temper-xp95-steel-iron-shafts/p/TT0101/ With this shaft you will install it into the clubhead and cut it from the grip end for your finished length.

Hello. I need to replace the shaft of a Mizuno JPX EZ forged 9 iron that has been extended 1.25 inches to a club length of 37 inches.  The shaft I need is the True Temper XP95 stiff flex but I am unsure what length would be best to use for the replacement

Asked by: Keith
The XP95 #9 iron shaft is the 37" raw length shaft. The Mizuno JPX EX Forged iron design will add 1" to 1.25" to finished length of the club. So when the 37" shaft is installed into the 9 iron the club will measure in the 38" to 38.25" finished length range. Mizuno lists the 9 iron standard length at 35.75" so you will just need to install the shaft and butt cut it to your finished length.

Ferrules I ordered with these shafts do not match up with my Ping i irons. Ferrule is larger than the hosel. What is the correct ferrule to order?

Asked by: ACinSC
The ferrules will always be larger in diameter then the hosel. They have to be sized and finished to match the hosel OD. Even Ping sizes and finishes ferrules. Hosels are not always exactly the same size or perfectly round and neither are the ferrules, both are productions items. Ferrules are made slightly larger and sized. Trying to make them a perfect size could result in ferrules that are to small in diameter for some hosels which does not look good. Here is a link to a video we have on finishing ferrules both with a belt sander and by hand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lnCtYVvxjM

I have titliest AP1 714 irons with True Temper XP 95 R300 shafts.  The shaft on the 7 iron is bent.  I need a replacement.  Are you able to indicate the proper shaft replacement?  I would order the shaft from you and have golf galaxy install it.  Thanks

Asked by: Paul
The Titleist AP1 714 irons take a .355 taper tip shaft. You would order the 38" length of the T0101 XP95 R300 True Temper shaft. It should be installed with no tip trimming and after installation would be trimmed to the final playing length from the butt end.

Just ordered a set of these, all in 7 iron length, to use as a same length set for my Ping i 's... Do I need to trim or can they be used as shipped?

Asked by: ACinSC
You will need to cut them to the finished length for these clubs. The 7 iron shaft is 38" long and when installed into the Ping I irons the iron head will add approximately 1" to the finished club length which will make the length approximately 39" and you will need to cut them from the grip end to your finished 7 iron length.
