Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft I needed a shaft that was close to the standard shaft in my R7. The shaft in my RBZ driver was to light. This shaft fits the bill. Used it today for the firstvtimr. I gained about 20 yards (270yds) and straighter ball flight. Great shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Control and added some distance. Great shaft. Pured and absolutely worth it. Used in TM RBZ Tour head. OEM shaft was .350 but this is .335 and is much better than stock shaft. Penetrating ball flight, easy to control draw and fade.

What should the trim cut be for a 3 wood? The shaft is a 65gr stiff 65 gold

Asked by: SHAFTMAN
You would tip trim 1" for a 3 wood with this shaft. It follows trim code W6. At this link scroll down to page 3 and follow the W6 code.

I am looking for a new shaft for my RBZ driver. Right now it has a regular flex shaft. I looked at your cross reference chart and I saw it was 45 grams. I feel the shat is to light for my swing. Will this shaft be better for me?

Asked by: Shooter
Yes the 65 gram weight shaft could work better especially if you feel he stock shaft is to light. The RBZ driver used a .350" tip diameter shaft. To use the Gold 65 shaft you will either need to shim the .335" shaft to fit the existing shaft adapter or purchase a new shaft adapter (TM0017) that will fit the Gold 65 shaft and install into the RBZ driver.

Do you have a titleist tip (will go on 913d2). I would like to order this shaft with titleist tip installed on it.

Asked by: ericmb4769
We sell an aftermarket Titleist shaft adapter that will fit the 913d2. Here is the link. GolfWorks Canada will be able to install the shaft adapter for you.

The R flex UST Gold 65 shaft is a medium tip stiffness design.

Which ust shaft in senior flex will work best for a callaway RAZR X 10.5 black ti driver head. I hit the driver 180 yds and straight. I'm looking to add distance. I usually hit with a low boring trajectory rater than a high one.

Asked by: Eddie
I would look at the ProForce V2 55 (US0001W) for a lower ball flight. Hopefully the lighter weight shaft will help you create a little more swingspeed and give you a little more distance. The other UST shaft I would suggest would be the UST Gold 55 (US0081) but it will likely produce a little higher ball flight then the V2 55.

I would like to purchase a UST Mamiya Gold 65 shaft with a Ping G30 driver adapter installed.  I would like the club to play at 45.45".  Do you provide that type of service?  Sorry, I forgot to indicate an Regular Flex shaft.

Asked by: Jeff
Yes we do provide this service. You would place your order for the shaft and adaptor and at Checkout in the Special Notes box you would put a note that you would like the adaptor installed for a G30 driver. Please tell us which setting on the adaptor you would like the shaft installed to. Tell us the finished length you would like. There is a charge of $10.00 for installing the adaptor.

I want to reshaft my TM RBZ 3-wood. I am 67, 5'8" and have a swing speed of about 80mph. It currently has an S flex, which I just don't seem to control. Suggestions? I'm a 13 hdcp, so the lower the price, the better.

Asked by: MorganO
There are not many fairway specific shaft designs to choose from. Most wood shafts can be trimmed for fairway. We have had a lot of success with the Xcaliber Fairway shaft code # AS0021. It comes in an A, R, S flex and is 75 grams. Based on your swing speed, the R flex could be a good choice. It is $29.99, which is a very good price. Another option in the same brand is the Xcaliber Tour SL, which is ultralight (56 grams in the R flex). If you are looking to maximize distance, the ultralight weight of the SL may be the way to go.
