Value Shaft Extractor

Removes most shafts easily and quickly. Shaft saver clamp fits most standard bench top vises (vise not included). Simply secure the shaft between the rubber Shaft Extractor pads with the hosel positioned in the appropriate holder. Attach the ratchet to the long bolt on the opposite side, apply heat and glide the head off the shaft tip. Straight push with no twisting saves graphite shafts for re-use.

Value Shaft Extractor is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Limited Use Only I have owned the Value Shaft extractor for a little over a year. Excellent design for the hobbyist who likes to try different shaft/ driver or wood combinations. However, it is very difficult to use on steel or graphite shafted Irons that use a high strength epoxy. If you will have a need for iron shaft removal, look to one of Golfworks higher end extractors, it will be worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Extractor I'm a novice club maker mostly for myself. Got this extractor because I wanted to be able to try out different shaft/club combinations. Have pulled two sets of irons (steel shafts) and about a dozen driver heads. This is a really well built tool that works exactly as I expected it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money saver Bought this because I wanted to change my shafts instead of buying new clubs. The closest shop that could do it was 2 hour drive and 20 dollars per club. This was very easy to use, I changed four of my clubs in less than two hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Extracter After researching many extracters on bay and the net, I took the chance on this one. And I'm happy I did. First time using it was a breeze. Very easy to use. I would recommend to any one looking for a reasonably priced extracte.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple, but not as effective as I hoped? I bought this specifically to get the heads off a set of late model forged irons that were perticularly stuborn to get off. I had to put some muscle on it even after what I considered to be a lot of steady heat! Before Ingot through the full set, the wrench began to strip a bit - I had to go to a quality wrench. From my initial experience, I'd suggest stepping up to a more sturdy model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected Very simple shaft extractor. Remove the ferrule, add a little masking or painters tape, clamp your shaft in, apply a little heat and slowly turn. If you don't get any movement keep the pressure on and add more heat. Take your time and apply heat all the way around the hosel evenly so as to not scorch any specific areas. Simple and quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does its job As of this review I used it once to repair a pitching wedge. It worked just fine using a heat gun on the graphite shaft. The only complaint I have is that I feel the item is still overpriced but compared to other pullers its a bargain. If you just change a few club heads once in awhile this will do the job very nicely.
