Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well it's true! I owned the same clubs for 20yrs and figured that it might be time to change the grips just to see if it's true that it would make a difference in my game. Folks, it's absolutely true!, I started with my 4 woods and saw an immediate difference the very next time I used them, got the rest of my clubs done 1 week later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I bought these because I couldn't find the Winn Xi7 in stock. I like these even better than the Xi7. Very comfortable, soft, and tacky. I like the Xi7, but these are even better.

Would 3 wraps of duct tape increase .550 to .590

Asked by: Mar
I do not have a measurement for the thickness of duct tape to know how much 3 layers would add. A guess tells me this might be pretty close or it might even add a little more. Personally I would not use duct tape for build up tape. If you are the next person to regrip these clubs and you need to remove the duct tape it is not fun. The Winn grips because of how they are made to not stretch very much so these could be a little difficult to install with the build up tape.

Will the .55 junior size fit a cut-down adult shaft?  I am trying to retrofit a set of Calloway X-tours for my 11 year old son.  They have project x 6.0 rifle shafts

Asked by: Nathan
The grips will fit over the shafts but depending on how much you will be cutting off the butt diameter will likely still be bigger then .550". Project X irons shafts have a .600" butt diameter and they stay .600" approximately 3" down from the butt end. Another grip option could be an Undersize grip like the Golf Pride Tour Velvet LVT58. https://www.golfworks.com/golf-pride-tour-velvet-golf-grips/p/VT/

How hard will it be to get the .550 Winn junior grip to fit on a graphite shaft with a .580 butt diameter.

Asked by: rich
It will be a little more difficult because the Winn Grips do not stretch very much. I would warm the grip with a heat gun, hair dryer or heating pad first and it will help them install easier. I would also use more solvent.

Will the junior (.550") Dri-Tac, or a similar Golf Pride Tour Wrap, be small enough in diameter, to slide snugly onto a USA Golf junior club's shaft, without a multi-layer build-up?

Asked by: Brent
We do not have any specifications on the butt diameter measurements for the USKids clubs to know for sure. We offer the Winn Junior with the .550" core size and the Lamkin Junior (LK0137) with a .500" core size both for junior clubs. Depending on which age range clubs you are regripping, unless they are for a very young age I would hope at least the Lamkin Junior grip would fit.

No there are no mid size ladies grips available. A mid size ladies grip would measure .910" and a standard men's size grip measures .900".
