Maltby M-Series TE Forged Iron Pak is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW..... the best word to describe these irons/shaft combination. A Maltby certified club fitter recommended these irons and my first thought was....."really". I had never heard of Maltby irons. boy was I in for a surprise. These irons are as solid as an forged club out there and every bit as good as my Callaways that have now been sold. Excellent launch angle on every iron, solid feedback on off center hits and distance control is spot on. As a 3 handicap golfer, these irons were the ticket for me. I have played 2 rounds and hit all but 2 greens in regulation. I HIGHLY recommend these irons. Very workable as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, great value and a valued experience I purchased this set of clubs about a month ago and have used them sufficiently to be able to comment on them with reasonable authority. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the heads and then the quality of, and obvious pride taken in the build. On course I have been impressed with the feel and playability of the set and having been a long standing Mizuno man I can only say that I should have been brave enough to take this step sooner and saved myself a heap of money as M are even more expensive in OZ than in the US. I was also very pleased with all other steps taken in dealing with your company from a distance and would recommend the experience to all. Kindest regards and thank you, Peter Anderson

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maltby TE forged Recently received (3-PW) set and have played them 5 rounds. A few observations: making more solid contact and flying the ball truer than I have in many years. I am currently 14 handicap although anticipate that going down with these irons. The combination of flatter lie and longer length (I know that sounds contradictory) have made all the difference. Overall., the best club decision I have made in a long time. Try a set and enjoy, I would be surprised if they don't help your game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Clubs in looks and feel I put these together for myself, and I love them. They hit long, straight, and feel great. The club pak is a great deal and this is a bargain. These clubs compare with $1100 sets by the "big" names. Everyone comments about how good they look, and when they try them, they say they feel really solid. Thank you for designing such a good club, even for a below average player like me to enjoy. I have lowered my handicap with these by a few strokes. Vic

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clubs! Amazing value for money! I played Titleist MB 710's for the last five years. With less time to practice, it became harder to hit the center of the club, so I went looking for something more forgiving. The TE forged irons not only look great, they also provide fantastic feedback on good strikes. It's very easy to work the ball with the TE forged irons and the off center hits produce decent results. For the price, you cannot go wrong with these clubs!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clubs I purchased these clubs two years ago and played more than 80 rounds at more than 30 different courses. My HDCP has dropped from a 25 to 15 over that time. Part of that drop is due to the feel and feedback I have received from these clubs. I really enjoy hitting these irons and will not entertain turning them in for anything else. I highly recommend these clubs for any mid to low handicapper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plays as well as they look I ordered these irons at the end of July (free assembly promo). After spending some range time, I finally played my first round with them today (in the rain). Lots of compliments on their looks...more after I hit them a few times. Beautiful ball flight! Now I have to relearn distance! I seem to be at least one club longer with these irons. What a problem to have! Thanks GolfWorks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel!! If you're looking for a classic, forgiving blade design, this club is for you. Great feel, even on mishits. The shafts have a pretty soft tip and the flight of my shorter irons balloons quite high. It would have been nice to choose between two different shafts but it wouldn't stop me from buying these again tomorrow.

Hi. I am very interested in this custom set. I am 64 and play 3-5 times a week at a muni. Currently using a Callaway X24 graphite shaft irons regular the XR driver regular, XR 4 wood stiff. Irons are ok but the shaft is very inconsistent. Not sure what to

Asked by: Terry
If you are inconsistent with your graphite iron shafts it is possible that they could be to light weight or to flexible for you. Possibly a heavier weight or S flex graphite shaft could work better for you. The stock graphite iron shaft listed for the X24 irons weighted 79 grams. The Score LT shaft used in this Club Pak is a lighter weight steel shaft along the lines of the stock steel shaft that Callaway would have used in the X24 irons. Callaway uses some UST Recoil graphite shaft in their more current models such as the Recoil 670 (US0072) which in an S flex could possibly work better then the stock R flex shafts.

Ok, 5-PW, Left Handed, R flex steel, same length as typical 7 iron? (ht. 6'-2" 37" floor to wrist) all same lie-somewhere around 2 degree up- jumbo grips. I will take care of swing weights. Can do? Cost?

Asked by: Maclumpy
We do not manufacture the TE Forged irons in Left hand. We do not make a set of iron heads to support the single length iron method.

I have loved playing my M-Series TE Forged Iron Pak now for many years. Today, the shaft (FST Pro 115) on my 8 iron broke. Can I order just the 8 iron and have you build it to a custom length and lie?

Asked by: Jim
Yes the TE Forged irons can be ordered individually and assembled to custom specifications. You would order the head, shaft and grip and give us the specifications you would like it assembled too.

Interested in the next zeros 7 shaft for irons. Any merit to their hype?

Asked by: Tomac
Are you asking about the Nippon N.S. Pro Zelos 7 shafts? The feedback from these shafts has been very good. You can read some reviews on these shafts at this link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and next to Product Description in the black box click on Reviews and you will be able to read the reviews for these shafts. They are the lightest weight steel shaft on the market and designed for slower swingspeeds and would tend to play a little more flexible then a normal Senior (R2), Regular or Stiff flex. They are also designed to produce a higher ball flight. This shaft would not be included or packaged as part of a Club Pak such as the PMA0099.

With Nippon shafts. I am senior, driver speed  mid  80 to low 90. 5 thru gap wedge. Your advise would be appreciated.  And cost informatiom

Asked by: Tomac
In Nippon shafts I would look at either the N.S. Pro 8950GH (NP0004) or the N.S. Pro 950GH (NP0011). The 8950GH is designed for a little higher ball flight then the 950GH which would be more of a mid/ high ball flight. Both of these shafts cost $24.50 each. The Nippon shafts are not offered as part of a Club Pak. You would have to purchase heads, shafts and grips separately.
