I am 6'9" and getting a custom link for my 2 ball putter. Should I buy a 50" and have it trimmed down to 39"?

Asked by: TallGuy
I would use the long putter shaft and cut it down to 39". If you used the 37" shaft you would still need to use a shaft extension to get to the 39" finished length and that putter shaft would be a little more flexible at 39". I think the 50" shaft is your best bet.

Do you know where I can get this type of shaft for a left handed odyssey putter? Thanks.

Asked by: Sixto
We can special order the Odyssey Double Bend putter shaft for Left Hand. However the True Temper facility is currently shut down until the first week of August and it would be mid August before we will be able to get the shaft. You would need to contact our Customer Service Department at golfworks@golfworks.com or by calling 1-800-848-8358 and they can help you with this special order.

Is this the correct replacement shaft for Odyssey Works Versa #1? Do you have the little black collar also?

Asked by: Gameday
If this is the Odyssey Works Versa #1 putter that you have it just uses a straight putter shaft like the TT0001P or TT1008P and it does not have the black collar. If your putter has a double bend shaft then the TT204102 is the correct replacement shaft. We do not have the little black collar. Of the ferrules that we sell the O-ring (68WIR) would be the best choice. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=56030596&camp=SEM:DSG_6305_ecom_nonbrand_410

I know it's a long shot but would this shaft work in a Rife 2 Bar putter head?

Asked by: crgolf
No the Odyssey Double Bend shaft works only with he Odyssey putters because the Odyssey putters do not have a 90 degree bore or post angle. For the Rife 2 bar you would need the TT1002P with 3/8" offset. 3/8" is the most common offset used by the manufactures. http://www.golfworks.com/rh-1-4-offset-double-bend-putter-shaft/p/TT1001P/

Is this the correct shaft for the Odyssey RH 2-ball white hot & what ferrule do I need?

Asked by: Randy
Yes this is the replacement double bend shaft for the Odyssey 2 Ball White Hot. Taylor Made uses a trim ring as a ferrule with this putter. We do not stock an exact replacement. I would use either the O-ring (68WIR) or the 59PI ferrule. Possible you can save the existing trim ring and use it again.
