I want to change the shaft in my super quad R7 driver. The hosel is a 350, the shaft I want is 335. what is my best choice, shim, bushing or the adaptor? If the adaptor, which one do I purchase, the 350 or the 335.

Asked by: Fish captain
We would recommend using the Taylor Made adaptor BB9008 and you would order the .335" for installing the .335" shaft into the .350" hosel bore.

I have a customer wants a Steel Shaft in a SLDR 460S driver. Is this the adaptor that I will need to put a .335 shaft in the club.

Asked by: Buckrogers
No this will not work with the SLDR shaft adaptor. You would need to either use a new shaft adaptor like the TM0023 or you could use the Brass Shim (SHIM 15) to size the .350" bore size down to .335" size with the existing shaft adaptor. http://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-m1-m2-r-15-sldr-shaft-adaptor/p/TM0023/ http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/

How deep is the hosal on a Taylormade superfast burner 2.0 driver head

Asked by: ole buddy
We do not have a Superfast Burner 2.0 to be able to measure the bore depth but generally bore depths are 1.25" deep.

I have a TaylorMade r7 460 head that has a threaded connector. I want to install a UST Proforce 75 shaft with a .350 tip. The guys at Golfsmith tell me this head was a demo, and they don't have an adapter. Can you help?

Asked by: Falkenhayn19
More then likely if it has a thread in connector if was from a Taylor Made Fitting Cart and we would not have anything that would fit this head either.

Can I use this adaptor to put a.335 shaft in a Burner Superfast 2.0 taylormade head?  If not, what adaptor would I use?

Asked by: TrickyDicky
The Superfast 2.0 driver does not require a special adaptor. I would suggest using the 59PW ferrules with this head. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=60PW

I have an R-7 driver that I am going to change shafts on.  Will this adapter work if I buy a .335 dia shaft? Do I need anything else ?  Ferrule ?

Asked by: danno
This is the only component you will you need to install a .335" shaft into an R7 driver head. The ferrule is attached to this adaptor.

Will this adapter fit an old burner bubble hosel.

Asked by: Dhunt
No this will not fit the Burner Bubble. The Burner Bubble used a .400" tip diameter bubble shaft. If you are reshafting with a .335" tip diameter shaft you would actually need either the SADW, http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=SADW
