Can i use a standard shaft with these ferrules to re-shaft a RAC-CGB 4 and 6 iron?

Asked by: Gwilly38
The RAC CGB irons used a .370" tip diameter shaft and yes the RAC ferrules will work with any .370" shaft.

I am trying to find 10 ferrules for my Taylor Made  RAC CGD .370 irons. Can you help? Much appreciated. Jason

Asked by: Jasden
For Taylor Made RAC CGB irons you need to use the Taylor Made RAC ferrules (BB9007). This is the only ferrule that will fit these irons. http://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-rac-iron-ferrules/p/BB9007/

is the hosel on taylormade irons 370 tapered?

Asked by: james
Some Taylor Made irons use a .370" tip diameter and other Taylor Made irons use a .355" taper tip diameter shaft. The Taylor Made TP model irons all use a .355" taper tip and all other models use a .370" parallel tip diameter shaft. If you have a set of Taylor Made RAC irons then you would need the BB9007 ferrules other wise you could use a ferrule like the 74PI. If you can tell us which Taylor Made irons you have we can help you with the correct ferrules. http://www.golfworks.com/golf-club-iron-ferrules-black/p/60PI/

I have the rac os irons and  I ordered project x stiff shafts that are .355 . Will these fit and if so what size ferrule do I need ?

Asked by: fife4ua
The BB9007 ferrule will fit because the .355" taper tip shaft tapers out to approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel. You will need to shim the .335" tip diameter shaft to fit the .370" hosel bore. The SHIMT works for this. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/

I'm looking for ferrules to fit the Rocketballz RBZ irons. Will these work or is there another ferrule specifically for the RBZ line ?

Asked by: TimS19
The Golfworks standard 52PI ferrule should work onthe RBZ irons It has a silver trim ring. If you want all black, without a trim ring, the 60PI should work.

I am reshafting a couple TM MB introns. Will these fit the hosel?

Asked by: Remo
The TM MB irons take a .355 shaft. The 65 TI standard .500" black ferrule should work. It is common to sand the ferrule flush to the hosel after installation. After sanding, you can bring the shine back to the ferrule by using Acetone and a Q-Tip. Coat the Q-Tip in Acetone and lightly runb it over the ferrule. This will bring the shine back to the ferrule.

What size are they, I have RAC TP Forged irons .355

Asked by: Cully
These ferrules should work for the RAC TP irons. The RAC design is unique in that the ferrule actually "snaps" onto the hosel prior to shaft installation. The ferrule is made to fit the top of the hosel and not necessarily the shaft. The hosel size should be the same on both the .370" and .355" (TP) version.
