Rated 4 out of 5 by from speeds things up great for multiple uses for same size using the vise repeatedly..I will not review your products anymore because the insistent "pop-up" ads are too distracting..that's a shame..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EASY & QUICK Good addition to shop used primarily for installation of grips. The quick shaft adjustment allows you to change pressure on changing shaft sizes which are prevalent in current club sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for graphite shafts 12 of my 14 clubs have graphite shafts. The adjustment wheel lets me fine tune the tightness so I don't crack a shaft. Very much worth the price for working with graphite shafts.

What happened to the aluminum channel on the bottom for clamping into the vice?  I thought that was on the clamp when I ordered it, but the one I received doesn't have it.

Asked by: Haubs
The aluminum channel has been replaced by the by the universal bracket. This bracket can be mounted to a bench as it. If you remove the mounting bracket, rotate it 180 degrees and reinstall it will fit into a vise with not problem.

Will this grip changing clamp work on std metal shafts also?...The specs or wording says "light weight graphite shafts", wanting to know if this works on metal shafts likewise? If not, what clamp would work better?

Asked by: Stevo
This clamp works with both steel and graphite shafts. With graphite shafts you always need to be careful to adjust your clamping pressure to avoid cracking or breaking the shaft. You adjust clamping pressure with steel shafts as well but pressure is not quite as critical as it can be with graphite.
