Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Graphite Design Tour AD DI I bought the DI 5 stiff and I am blown away. I have always loved GD shafts for the smooth feel but now I got the distance and trajectory I have always wanted. I really can't believe how hard this thing kicks even when swinging smoothly. Truly the best shaft I have ever had. I put it into a R9 supertri by the way. High ball flight without balooning and some roll too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DI is Awesome! I recently bought the DI-6 Sitff after seeing my buddy's improvement in his R9 Dirver with this shaft. All I can say is explosive! I gained 10-15 yds and it is on a rope straight. Great Shaft for sure.

When do you expect to get the Graphite Design 5 series F1 Flex back in stock???

Asked by: Earl
If you mean R1 Flex we show 1 GD0043 in black in stock. We are not showing a date as to when we would have the orange shaft in stock. We do not stock many of these an it is likely we would need to put some on order. It would probably be best to place an order and have it go on backorder and they will be ordered and shipped as soon as it is received.

I have a 10.5 Taylormade M1. My swing speed is around 96 and have a desending blow. I normally use a stiff but can also hit regular. I hit my 8 iron 150 or so. Which of the shafts would be your recommendation?

Asked by: wayne
If you have the Fujikura Pro 60 shaft as the stock shaft in the M1 driver it is designed as a high launch shaft. If that is the problem that you are having you want to look at shafts designed for mid or possibly even mid/low launch. It just depends on how much correction you need. The Graphite Design Tour AD DI is a good shaft but it is also designed for a high trajectory. Taylor Made offered the Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Silver w/TiNi (MR0042) as a mid launch shaft. This certainly could be an option. Taylor Made also offered the Aldila Rogue Silver 70 gram (AL0047) as a low launch shaft. It just depends on what you are wanting this shaft to do. We have our MPF Shaft Fitting program and it might be worth while for you to go through this to see what shafts it brings up for you. You can access it at this link. http://www.golfworks.com/mpf-shaft-fitting-worksheet/a/496/ If you can give me some more information on what you need this new shaft to do I can possibly give you some more specific recommendations.

Asked by: scott
We are not sure if we will be stocking the Tour AD TP shafts or whether we will be able to special order this shaft. In looking on Graphite Designs web site it says this shaft will not be available until Oct. 19th. http://proschoicegolfshafts.com/tour-ad-wood-shafts/

What's the difference between r1 and r2 shafts how would the performance differ?

Asked by: KPd
The R2 is the Senior flex for driver swingspeeds in the 63 to 76 mph range and the R1 is the R flex for swingspeeds in the 77 to 92 mph range.

looking for a good 1-iron shift 95gram or less I'm 60 swing speed is in decline but driver swing speed is still around 90 have a 2-iron with recoil prototype 95 stiff and hit it 220 with a mid/high ball flight

Asked by: sparky
In graphite iron shafts none of the shaft manufactures make a 1 iron shaft. If you need a .355" taper tip shaft you would have to also use a 2 iron shaft in your 1 iron. With a .370" tip size graphite iron shaft non of the shaft manufactures account for a tip trimming difference between the 1 and 2 irons which would make the 1 iron shaft play a little stiffer because of the lighter clubhead weight. We do have the Project X Hybrid (TT0063) shaft which could be used and we have it in both .355" taper tip and .370" parallel tip. That could be used in a 1 iron and would play true to it's listed flex. http://www.golfworks.com/project-x-graphite-hybrid-shaft/p/TT0063/
