Regarding the bottom portion of ferrule w/ hole, what is the purpose of the hole on the ferrule and is the bottom portion ferrule fitted into the club hosel?

Asked by: HuckGin
Epoxy will go through the hole and help bond the ferrule to the inside of the hosel better. if they do not bond properly they can actually make a squeaking noise.

I have Ping Anser wedges, I also have .355 USTMamiya Recoil shafts that I could put in them.  Will this adapter enable me to do that???

Asked by: Rick Leton
Ping does not use the Collared ferrules with their irons. You could use a .355" ferrule such as the 66TI, 67TI, 75TI or 76PI. Most of the time with .355" taper tip shafts I will use .370" ferrules and they work just fine. A .355" taper tip shaft will have tapered out to approximately .370" where the shaft exits the top of the hosel and the .370" ferrule will fit fine. The 74PI looks similar to the size that Ping installs from the factory.
