Tacki-Mac Perforated Tour Pro Golf Grip Specifications

Tacki-Mac Perforated Tour Pro Golf Grips is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product As a player with large hands that needs jumbo grips, these grips are the best I've used and I've used them all. I especially like the fact that they keep the tacky feel for the life of the grip and are very durable. I really like the Golf Pride jumbos and had used them since they first became available over 25 years ago, but I like these even better. With heavy use, they last much longer than the others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not only best value... I have used Wynn,Golfpride, etc... A friend let me use these years ago. And they where great. Could not find them for awhile. Glad they are back in the golf business. All my clients and I use these exclusively. You won't go back to the other over priced softies after playing these. Just try one. It's only 2 bucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's the problem? Ordered 8 of these grips, great price, came super quick. Installed 6 tonight, woods and irons. They went on without a problem. I almost didn't order them because of the comments on how tough they were to install. Just make sure the vise is tight and the tape and grip get plenty of fluid (and a few seconds to soften).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get a pro to regrip Warning --- Nearly impossible to regrip at home while following the instructions carefully, with out proper tools, use a pros shop, looking forward to playing with the regripped clubs after the blisters heal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great golf grips and EASY to install. I read the hard to install comments. The tape they sent me was almost impossible. I used good tape from Golfsmith and they slipped on just like a normal grip. I do them by hand with no vise. I have played them for 80+ rounds. Just wipe with wet cloth occasionally and they are like new. EXTREMELY durable. I am ordering 3 sets today...two for friends and a set of tapered oversized for me. I was playing the non-tapered. At $2 each? The best value out their.

why is the price for the complete set (Jumbo Perforated Tour Pro grip) $39 when I can purchase 13 individual grips @ $2.39 ea which totals $31????

Asked by: Paul
The Complete Set is a Kit which also includes grip tape, grip solvent, shaft vise clamp and grip gauge. That is why the price is higher. Here is the link for the GolfWorks Canada site. http://www.golfworks.ca/tacki-mac-perforated-tour-pro-golf-grips/p/AV0013/

I noticed the Tacki-Mac site has the "jumbo" grip in this model listed at 67 grams (+/- 2 grams). Yet, you have them listed here at 72 grams. Why the discrepancy?

Asked by: slabstr
I weighted a few of these and got weights from 65.5 grams to 68.5 grams. The 72 grams is incorrect and we will get that changed. If you scroll down the page to the specification box you will see it is listed at 68 grams and also listed at 68 grams in our catalog.

How much larger are the jumbo grips over the standard grips? I have a Winn dry tack jumbo on my driver and it is + 1/8".

Asked by: jerry 51
A standard grip size measures .900" measured at 2" down from the top edge of the grip cap. A jumbo (+ 1/8") measures 1.020" when measured at the same 2" down from the top edge of the grip cap.

Wanted to try this grip on a TT DG R300 iron shaft. The Lamkins I put on are .standard .580. Can you advise if the .600 will fit? Thanks.

Asked by: Captj
A standard grip size is dependent on the relationship between the butt diameter of the shaft and the core diameter of the grip. The Dynamic Gold S300 shaft has a butt diameter of .600. If you put a .600 core diameter grip on a .600 diameter shaft, the resulting size will be considered "standard".

One reviewer stated that it was nearly impossible to install these grips at home.  Is it really that difficult?  I have never had a problem installing other grips.

Asked by: Swede
I have installed Winn Grips on my clubs every year. I tried TACKI-MAC. They are very hard to install at home. Woods are impossible. Irons are a struggle. I have completed 7 irons and will take the rest to a site to install the rest. Cannot get them on. They do not slide on easily and you probably need a vice which I do have here.
