Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage Silver Wood Shafts

KURO KAGE™ Silver Wood Series will feature the same High Density Prepreg as the original KURO KAGE™ Black profile, but in a profile that has a stiffer tip and mid section, and a softer butt section. The result is a series of shafts that will deliver extreme stability and lower spin than the original KURO KAGE™ Black profile.

Are you able to order the following shaft. Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage Silver Dual Core TiNi 80 TX or 70 TX

Asked by: Jeremy
You would need to contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-848-8358 and they can check this for you. I do not see a TX flex listed on the Mitsubishi web site for either the 70 or 80. Customer Service can check with Mitsubishi to see if they might be available.

I have a kuro Kage 3 wood...50G Flex A.  Is that a Sr. Shaft?

Asked by: JRM66
The A flex designation in the Kuro Kage would indicate it is a "Senior" flex.

Standard length for 70gr driver. And how short could l go

Asked by: Mike
With a 70 gram weight shaft our standard driver length would be 45". In reality you can go as short as you want. Keep in mind for every 1" you shorten the driver it will get 6 swingweights lighter and the shaft will get stiffer. If you bring the swingweight back up to where it was before you shortened the driver the shaft flex will stay basically the same as it was initially.

I have a Kuro Kage silver Tini 70gm in my Nike Covert Tour 2.0 (3) wood.Love the shaft balance w a moderate to aggressive move on the ball. Want to replace my Tour 65S in my Ping G30 LS (feels unbalanced). Should I just put a KK silver 70 in the Ping G30?

Asked by: FrankMaio
You certainly could put the KK Silver 70 in the Ping G30. It could work well especially for someone who makes a little more aggressive move through the ball.
