The GolfWorks Quick Shaft Clamp

Safely clamps any golf shaft for gripping. Thumb knob quickly and easily adjusts the clamp pressure for use with light weight graphite shafts. Comes with a bench mount bracket that can be removed, rotated 90 degrees and reinstalled for use in a vise.

The GolfWorks Quick Shaft Clamp is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is excellent....but Overall this vise is a great time saver versus a regular crank down vise. It is very easy to adjust for shaft thickness. the clamp is very strong. Had no issues twisting clubheads off. The only suggestion to the manufacturer is that it is not the easiest to mount to a fixed object. The meat of the clamp is directly over the pre determined holes meant for the mounting screws... i can be done albeit just at a slight angle. Or by predrilling and using an open ended ratchet wrench. So yes, mounting it is a pain. But I would definitely buy another and recommend to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to mount and works great I decided to get into the habit of regripping all clubs on a regular basis. I also want to get involved in repairing and possibly putting together component parts. I mounted the clamp to a small board that I can secure to my workbench or move to other areas as needed. The clamp works great. It is easy to set up, holds the clubs firmly without fear of damage. I highly recommend this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GolfWorks Quick Shaft Clamp I bought this clamp a month ago, and it makes re-gripping so much easier then when I had only the rubber vise clamp. They both work, and get the job done, but the quick clamp cuts the time by probably ten times, and I'm no longer worried about setting the vise too tight and damaging the shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use after using this shaft clamp I wondered why I hadn't bought one a long time ago.this clamp sure is a lot easier than a vice with all that turning & turning .if you are going to work on grips & shafts this should be the first tool you buy and Golfworks is the greatest company I have ever bought from .they always have great deals and really fast shipping

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great convenience tool This shaft clamp cuts down significantly the time required to regrip as you avoid having to reclamp each club manually in a vise. The shaft clamp is easily adjustable to fit any size shaft. A must have if you regrip a lot.

Hi, does speed clamp open wide enough so can grip butt end of shaft for Floing a shaft also in your opinion it ok for that job ? Thanks

Asked by: Steve
Yes it will open wide enough to clamp the butt end of the shaft. Personally it does not work that well for Floing because the rubber clamp tends to dampen the oscillation cycles and it can make it more difficult to see a good FLO.

Are the feet able to be removed? If so, can the feet be attatched so that they are positioned font to back (the same direct as the shaft would go) instead of horizontallylikes the picture?

Asked by: Robj
The feet are removable but you would have to drill new mounting holes to change the direction of the feet.

How do you remove the bench mount bracket? In reading one of the reviews, the reviewer mentioned that it's hard to mount it because the clamp sits over the mounting bracket holes.

Asked by: DJH
There are two screws that loosen with an allen wrench that hold the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket itself has holes in the base and there is enough room to access these holes and mount the bracket to a bench or stand. There is not as much room if you are wanting to remove the mounting bracket but it can be removed.
