Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Personal Use Option Just finished going through two forged iron sets and a few putters and got the job done. I use a seperate gauge set so this setup requires a fair amount of going back and forth and patience. If you are not a handyman type of person, this could be very frustrating. But once you get the hang of it and get a feel for the bending process, it will get you where you want to go. Well built and I use it in a large vise on a tool stand I modified for this. Still can move around in the vise but I deal with it. Would not recommend for higher use situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's worth the money I gave this product 5 stars because it's a solid tool that allows you to bend irons. It's a good buy for someone who wants to adjust lie or loft of his own irons, or a friend's, and is patient. There is no device with this machine that gives you your starting point(s) for loft or lie, so you need a way to measure the club before you bend it. I didn't care how many degrees I was flat or upright; I just wanted to bend the irons to meet a more comfortable stance. Later I bought Golfworks' protector just to see where things were, which turned out useful because several irons I thought I'd bent had not, in reality, been changed at all. The machine secures the iron well, and the rod that comes with it is fine for bending the hosel. But-- YOU WILL WANT TO USE THE BRASS SLEEVES THAT ARE SOLD SEPARATELY, unless having marks on your hosels doesn't matter to you (it doesn't to me). For putters, follow the instructions to the letter to protect the top edge from being dented. Also, use those brass sleeves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT HOME CLUB TOOL! I ordered this for my own home use and it has worked really well for me. It is robust(I tore a 27-4 stainless 7 iron hosel with no damage to it) If you secure the club properly you will not damage this machine in normal use. The gauges are accurate and easy to read. I mounted it to a heavy wooden bench but it would be better to have the stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Tool As advertised, installed new TT Lite shafts and changed lengths. When I checked the lies, they were all off by different amounts. This bending machine got them all perfect. Took a few minutes to get it going. Make sure it's secure on a non movable table and FOLLOW directions. Hitting them straighter and loving it. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I love this product built a mount for a trailer hitch and can adjust measure and try at the range. Make sure if you do try this make sure it's warm out so the metal on the clubs are not as brittle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it so far I've used it for about a month now. I've only used it to bend my ridiculous number of blade style putters. I bought the vice version and it's worked great for me so far.

"Inherited" and old GW Golf Club and Economy LnL Machine (GAM Ser.#12322). Want to replace some parts (start with GAMP), but guess you don't sell them? Time to retire this thing? I'm just a hobbyist and do friend's stuff. Thx.

I bought this tool a while back and I cant find the instruction pamphlet that came with it. I want to adjust the lie of a mallet putter. Can you please provide instructions how to do it. Thank you.

    Asked by: Manny
The instructions are actually under the GAM. The top part of the GAM is the VAM. The link below will take you to the instructions. https://www.golfworks.com/images/art/GAM.pdf

Does the value line bender show the degrees being bent

    Asked by: Gcgolf2901
No the VAM does not have any readings. It is just a vise to clamp and hold the clubhead so it can be adjusted. You would have to have a Golf Club Gauge to measure the specifications and changes made when adjusting.

Do you have a digital instruction from you can send and/ or a video?

    Asked by: Brian
Here is the link for the instructions for the VAM. It had the same clamping unit as our GAM that we use to sell and the clubs clamp in the machines the same way. With the VAM you will need to turn the unit in the vise when adjusting loft so that your bending pressure works with the vise and the VAM will not come up out of your vise.
