Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Kit I purchased a grip kit to use in re-gripping my daughter's golf clubs. The instructions were clear and the materials were top-flight. The key is to follow the instructions as written and work quickly at the point of sliding the new grips on the club. I like GolfWorks much better than Golfsmith.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything You Need leads to a Great Finish!!! Never did it before, the directions were great with pictures to show you how. Cean the club thoroughly, put your club gently in a vise, and just follow the directions. Do place a tray under the grip to collect the excess solvent. I ordered an extra couple of grips in case I screwed up, oh well, now have a couple of extras!!! Golfworks had the best products at the best prices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from restored my confidence Recently purchased a roll of regripping tape which for some reason or other would not stick to the shaft. Reported it and the item was immediately replaced with a roll of tape that was fine. I was readyto get my tape elsewhere but GOLFWORKS restored my confidence in their product. Thanks for the quick and courteous service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-in-one kit. Everything you need in one kit. Helped make my first-ever attempt at regripping a simple task. The tape strips are a little shorter than I'd have liked (and I only got 12 instead of 14, but fortunately was only regripping my irons), but they were sufficient to do the job. The bottle of solvent has more than enough in it--probably enough to do two full sets of clubs or more--and really made an easy chore of slipping on the grips. I just love that plastic top plug in the bottle; I don't know if it was designed specifically for this, but I found it especially useful as a measuring cup. Fill it with solvent then pour it into the grip. Just the perfect amount without a lot of waste. Then dump it on the grip tape after swishing it around in the grip. The rubber vise clamp alone is worth the cost of the grip kit and proved invaluable. The only kit component that I have no idea what it's for is the grip size guage; didn't seem to serve any purpose, and not even i

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice grips! Got these during the US Open flash sale. I went in with two co-workers and bought two complete kits (26 grips total, solvent, tape, etc.) for like $40. Insane value for the money. Grips are nice. Took the clubs I regripped to the range last weekend. They look sharp and are as good as any other mid-range offering I've used from Golf Pride or Winn. Graphic style probably isn't for everybody, but if you like the spiderweb look (or can get past it for the price), they're a solid grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy This is one of the easiest re-gripping kits I have ever used. The solvent works better than any other solvent. Just for fun I re-gripped an old club by spraying the tape and NOT the inside of the grip. It slid right on with little trouble. This was just to see how good the solvent and tape was and is not recommended. Of course when I re-griped my set of clubs spraying the tape and grips it took about 15 minutes to apply 13 grips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spray Bottle Application Sub-par One star for the tape, one star for the vice block. That's all you get on this one. While the spray application is superior to pouring on the solvent, the spray bottle sucks. Fortunately for me, I had remnant solvent available to complete the installation. And truly there is no reason to not install grips yourself. Golfworks has made the process fool proof. But word to the wise, don't use the spray bottle until they improve it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Grip kit tape was poor I believe the double sided grip tape supplied with this kit was old and thus, pretty dried out. I had a very hard time getting it to stick to the club, and almost pulled it off when I tried to remove the other side if the tape backing. Could not have managed without help. I hope the grips hold, especially on the driver and fairway metals, where the tape was too narrow to cover the entire circumference of the shaft.

how do you install the ribs on the shaft. thank you.

Asked by: happy jack
The Grip Ribs come with instructions inside the packaging. The ribs have a adhesive on the undersize that sticks to both the shaft and build up tape if needed. The kit comes with two different alignment plugs to ensure proper rib placement. More information can be found at the bottom of this page

What are the shipping costs for grip kit and ten grips to Luxembourg or Denmark?

Asked by: Knud
Assuming 10 standard size grips and a grip kit the cost to ship via USPS would be $26.00. If you are ordering mid size or oversize/ jumbo grips the shipping cost would go up.

I would like to re grip 14 clubs what product kit would be best for me solvent tape rubber clamp device etc. Thank you. Dave

Asked by: golf hoarder
The kits only include 13 grips plus grip tape, solvent and a shaft clamp. You could order another grip and tape strip to get your 14 grips. Really any grip kit you choose could work well. It is always hard to make a good suggestion without knowing what grips someone has been playing with or what they might prefer.
