How does this shaft compare to the Fubuki Z 60 and Bassara G 53 S? Looking to build a custom Big Bertha Fusion driver, currently play an FT-5 with Fujikura ES-150 S.

Asked by: The Steel
The Diamana S+ S flex weights 64 grams, with 4.5 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid ball flight. The Fubuki Z 60 S flex weights 64 grams with 4.1 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid/low ball flight. The Bassara G 53 S flex weights 56 grams with 4.4 degrees torque and is designed to create a mid ball flight. The Bassara G 53 will likely play a little more flexible then a normal S flex. That is pretty typical for shafts in the 50 gram weight range.

Available in Lite flex which is Diamana senior flex? I purchased a Lite Blueboard Lite 53x5ct shaft from Golf Works several years ago

Asked by: Jack
Original Diamana Blue board in a Lite flex is not available and out of production. WE do have the Tensei CK Blue first generation product in a 53 gram A flex (MR0068) that is a mid/high trajectory shaft and should play similar to the original Blue Board Lite flex. The price has also been reduced for this special offer product to $129.00. Was $199.99 last year.

Can it be adapted for a Ping G30 driver?

Asked by: Diane
Yes this could be installed into a Ping G30 driver. You would either need to purchase a new Ping Shaft Adaptor (PGC002) or reshaft the existing shaft adaptor.

Currently I have the Aldila VS Proto 60 R in a Cobra Bio + Driver (3b1m). I feel I need something with a little more height and a bit more kick at the bottom. So would this Diamana S+ shaft in Regular (3b2s) do that?

Asked by: getting old
The Diamana S+ is a good shaft and could work well. Another shaft I recommend quite often is the Graphite Design YS6+ (YS633WPL). It is another good shaft that could work well.

Asked by: Chuck
Mitsubishi lists the S+ Blue 70 at 69 grams for the R flex, 71 grams for the S flex and 72 grams for the X flex. They do not make an aftermarket version of this shaft for a fairway wood.

Would like to replace shaft in Ping I25 driver came with pwr65 tour spec. I have hit the S+ in TM2 and gave me a desired ball flight. Swing speed 100. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Mic
It you have hit the S+ and liked it that would be where I would start. At 100 mph that would put you into an S flex shaft. The Diamana S+ shaft is a very good shaft.
